The Bildband team provides a range of workshops from analogue printing to zine making. We also host workshops by international artists and creators in the photography field.
TINTYPE WORKSHOP - 21.09.2024
DISCOVER THE ALCHEMY OF A 19TH CENTURY PHOTOGRAPHIC CRAFT
Join us for a rare opportunity to learn the 19th century art of tintype with New York City-based artists Tyler Blint-Welsh and Angela Jones.
The 8-hour workshop will be hosted at Bildband Berlin’s darkroom. After a quick lesson on the history of the medium, students will spend the rest of the workshop learning to make tintypes of their own. Angela and Tyler will teach students the intricate process of properly preparing a plate, exposing an image, as well as developing and varnishing it.

Bildband Berlin Zine Making Workshop 19 - 20.10.2024
We would like to invite you to take part in the Bildband Berlin zine making workshop with Joe Dilworth and Youvalle Levy.
NEW DATES: 19-20.10.2024 Book Launch: 31.10.2024
Day 1 19.10.2024: In a group of up to 10 people we will sequence and edit your project.
Day 2 20.10.2024: You will learn how to use a layout program and work with a pre-existing designed template. Once the project is ready we will send it to print.
Day 3 31.10.2024: See the printed result! the zines would be printed and available for sale at the shop. Invite your friends in the evening for a drink to celebrate the end of the workshop and show your new zine.
Included in the price are 25 copies of your zine!
24 pages, A5 size, edition of 25.
