Charcoal Press 2024

Jeff Dworsky dropped out of school at 14, bought a Leica at 15 and moved to a small island in Maine at 16. He became a fisherman, he fell in love and moved to an even smaller island, where he built a home for his family. Here, he dug a well and raised sheep. After a few years, his wife decided to leave the island. Jeff Dworsky stayed and raised the children. Today, he has been a fisherman for 40 years and still lives on the island in Penobscot Bay. ‘Sealskin’ is a moving story about longing, change and time erosion.
