Quiet Walk brings together five years of photographs made while walking near the artist’s childhood home in Middlesbrough, North-East England. Shot on analogue film and paired with his own writing, the work moves between landscape and memory, tracing how familiar places shift over time.

Shaped by the early death of a close friend, the work returns to the same paths again and again. Walking becomes a way of thinking through grief. The images focus less on events than on what lingers, absence, atmosphere, and the quiet ways memory reshapes the past. The book reflects on how we carry loss, and how we continue alongside it.
