Peter Bünnagel – Berlin Cash
Self Published – 2021
In your building, outside the club, on the next corner – suddenly ATMs are popping up all over Berlin. Peter Bünnagel has photographed them. BERLIN CASH takes you on a journey through the almost deserted capital. The ATMs seem like a last rebellion in the urban space before cash will have disappeared completely. Who withdraws money from these strange solitaires at all? Especially at sometimes very desolate and abandoned places?
The book BERLIN CASH features 72 colour photographs on 80 pages. It has a hardcover with hot foil stamping. The locations of the ATMs can be traced thanks to a list inside the cover. Berlin Cash is published by Edition Scrollan.
BERLIN CASH is the latest work by designer Peter Bünnagel. Peter studied Design at the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf, worked at nowakteufelknyrim and Pixelpark, has taught at Pforzheim University and the Universität der Künste Berlin and is founding partner at Kollektiv Scrollan in Berlin for more than 20 years.
