Humor in fine photography generally is notably lacking. How refreshing therefore that Thomas Hoepker, a traditional practitioner of the art, has given us so many fine crafted seriously funny images to contemplate.

Successfully extracting visual fun by direct observation of our human comedy is to my mind one of the great personal achievements and Thomas Hoepker in Strange Encounters hits the mark every time.
